Important Update from my writing cave (sort of)

I sat down to write this blog thinking I had absolutely nothing exciting to say.

And honestly? That might still be true.

Current highlights from my glamorous author life include:

• aggressively ignoring laundry

• reheating the same cup of tea three times

• arguing with fictional people who refuse to behave

• and spending an unreasonable amount of time researching something for a book that has now absolutely put me on a government list somewhere

The current manuscript is in that magical stage where I love everyone deeply one minute and threaten to delete the entire thing the next. So basically…progress.

Also, I have a very important question:

What instantly makes a romance hero hotter?
A) flannel
B) competence
C) emotional vulnerability
D) rolling up sleeves while doing something useful

(There are no wrong answers. Except maybe “tax preparation.”)

On the reading side of life, I’ve been craving comfort reads lately—the kind that make you laugh, sigh happily, and stay up way too late saying “one more chapter.”

Which…feels fair, considering that’s exactly what I’m trying to write too.
