Tuesday's Guest, Sarah Morgan!
Update: winners, randomly drawn, are: Debby Biter and Erika Garcia. Make sure to hit the contact button and tell me your addy and a couple of backlist choices from Sarah's backlist AND mine. :) Original post: I adore Sarah Morgan and every time I talk to her, I end up with a British accent like hers. :) She has a wonderful new book out today, SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER, and I dragged her over here to guest blog. Welcome, Sarah, take it away!
From Sarah: Last December I was lucky enough to be invited to a book signing with Nora Roberts and Jill Shalvis at Turn the Page Bookstore, Boonsboro. As if signing alongside two of my favourite authors wasn't enough of a dream come true, I was lucky enough to be snowed in at the Inn with Jill. We were both approaching a deadline and spent a happy afternoon side by side with our laptops and a stack of cookies, while Alpha Man watched football and blocked out the embarrassing sound of my fangirl moments (sorry folks, but I was writing next to Jill Shalvis. JILL SHALVIS. My arm rubbed against hers. I'm hoping the talent is contagious). By the end of the weekend I didn't just love her writing, I loved her. Jill is the warmest, kindest, most generous person I've met. I took some magical photos of Inn Boonsboro in the snow, but my favorite photo is the one I took of our feet while we were writing on the bed.
I've read Jill's blog forever, so I was thrilled when she invited me here to celebrate the release of my new book, Suddenly Last Summer. I'm giving away two signed copies of Sleigh Bells in the Snow, the book I was signing with Jill that weekend, to two random commentators who guess which feet are mine and which are Jill's (you can safely assume the big macho ones belong to Alpha Man).
(and don't forget to run not walk and get yourself Sarah's new book!!!)
